Southern Host Hospitality was started in August 2005. It all started with two California investors (Dee Mann and Jay Otal), Jeff Rogers, Joanna Wilson, and just two hotels: the Quality Inn & Microtel Inn.

Today Southern Host is the headquarters and main operating hub for over 14 hotels and was recognized in 2007 & 2008 Hotel Business Magazine, A National Hotel Publication as the 78th Ranked company in the United States for "Hotel Developers and Owners".

In as little as the first year Southern Host saw the creation of corporate offices and an accounting office that would unfold and be structured for all investor owned properties depending on Southern Host Hospitality for accounts receivable & Payables, Payroll, and all day to day operations. Southern Host Hospitality went from a dream to reality for Jeff Rogers "President" and Joanna Wilson "Regional Director Of Sales and Marketing". What a life Southern Host began to take. Today Southern Host is the headquarters and main operating hub for over 14 hotel properties. In early 2008, The investors showed a desire to become partners in Southern Host and part of the company was sold to them. The success of Southern Host Hospitality continues to prosper and grow at an unprecedented rate in our industry due to the consistency and stability of its ownership, managment and staff.
